Responding with generosity and trust

When God makes the way forward clear, we respond in faith. Giving is not about obligation. It is about worship. Throughout Scripture, God’s people respond to His leading with joyful, willing generosity, trusting that He will provide what is needed for the work He calls them to do.

The Give phase is not about equal gifts, but about equal trust. It is an invitation to participate together, each according to how the Lord leads, as we take our next faithful step as a church family.

Phase 3: GIVE

What This Phase Is About

The Give phase is a defined season where we invite the church to respond financially to what God is doing among us.

This is a time to:

  • Give joyfully and prayerfully

  • Respond in obedience, not comparison

  • Trust God with what He has entrusted to us

  • Participate together in what God is building

Generosity is one of the ways God shapes our hearts as we follow Him.

What This Phase Is Not

The Give phase is not about:

  • Pressure or guilt

  • Measuring faith by dollar amounts

  • Equal giving, but willing giving

  • Replacing prayer with provision

Giving flows out of prayer and discernment, not ahead of it.

How Giving Will Be Handled

If and when we enter this phase:

  • The purpose and need will be clearly explained

  • Any goals or timelines will be specific and transparent

  • Financial oversight will remain with our elders and finance team

  • Updates will be communicated clearly and honestly
